NHIT in India reports INR 340.78 billion NAV pre-distribution, proposing INR 6.82 billion payout

The National Highways Infrastructure Investment Trust (NHIT) in India reported a Net Asset Value (NAV) pre-distribution of INR 340,779 million, or INR 159.35 per unit, as of June 2026, according to a recent financial report. The trust’s total assets are valued at INR 553,078 million, with total liabilities of INR 252,084 million, resulting in equity of INR 259,925 million. A distribution of INR 6,819 million is proposed, which will reduce the NAV per unit to INR 156.16. Valuations of SPVs, including NWPPL, NEPPL, and NSPPL, increased significantly between March 2024 and March 2026, ranging from INR 122,020 million to INR 206,490 million. The valuation process relied on a Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis incorporating a Market Risk Premium of approximately 7%, as calculated by Ernst & Young.
