EMS Limited rises 7.31% after securing a Rs 15,828.57 crore sewerage work order from Delhi Jal Board

EMS Ltd. is up 7.31% to Rs 411.6, building on recent gains and adding 2.06% over the last week. EMS Limited announced it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Delhi Jal Board, Delhi Sarkar, for sewerage work, following its earlier designation as the lowest bidder (L1) for the tender. The order, awarded by a domestic entity, involves providing, laying, and jointing internal and peripheral sewer lines in Tikri Kalan and is expected to be executed within 15 months. The total order value, inclusive of GST, is approximately Rs 15,828.57 Cr. Trading volume reached 5.59 lakh shares today, a surge of 77.73% compared to the average volume over the last one week. EMS Ltd. experienced a sharp decline of 31.67% year-over-year, underperforming the 2.16% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
